Ahhhh, this has to be one of my top dupe finds, ever. It has been a long time since I have been this excited about a pair of shoes and these are now being placed at the best spot on my shoe shelf.

I didn’t even wait to buy these on sale, which is saying something about my usually pretty bargain-seeking self. My favorite thing about these is that often when I buy a dupe, I feel like I settled for something I didn’t really want. Because I still think about the original piece and in the back of my mind I keep saving for that one. When I realized I did this, I started buying fewer items and just getting what I truly wanted instead. This dupe is not like that. I truly feel like I got an amazing shoe and the look I wanted, for a price I can live with.

The Struggle to Find a Dupe That Makes Your Heart Sing

Back in December I bought a pair of Jimmy Choo Bing dupes from Zara, but it just didn’t feel like they fully satisfied my craving. They weren’t 100%, the shape was a bit off and the quality felt lower than what I was pining for. Now I’m happy I didn’t settle and just returned them instead. Because while these Kurt Geiger Duke heels are more expensive, they are of higher materials and the best dupe for the Jimmy Choo Bing heels that I have found over the last couple of years of searching.

Kurt Geiger also has so. many. options. I chose the 100mm heel (just like the Jimmy Choo ones!) and the black patent leather. I will admit that I am more than a little tempted to get more colors. These were surprisingly easy to walk in – but if you prefer a lower heel, they got that as well. At the moment, I’m the most at risk for grabbing the nude and also the green/gold sequin ones. Talk about a statement pair of heels to really make an outfit. But for now, I’m thrilled to have the black, they will be worn to death.

I have had my eye on the Jimmy Choo Bing in black for almost 2 years now, but I have not been able to talk my bank account into agreeing that a pair of party shoes can justifiably cost $995. At least not with how clumsy I am. Hopefully one day we’ll come to an understanding. But for now I am over the moon that I found something that actually feels like a satisfying dupe. Quality? Check. Actually wearable? Check. Avoiding a price-tag panic attack? Check. The look? Dead on.

The upper is leather but this is the patent version, so while it should mold to your feet a little, I would still go with the size that fits you best. I am normally between a 3 and 4 and I went with a 4 here. However, I will say that the strap going over your foot is on the larger side. I have medium-wide feet and a slight arch, and I still had to pad it with a piece of silicone padding to get a completely snug fit, which absolutely makes them feel just glued to your feet (in the best way, it makes them a dream to walk in).

I am so impressed and I am seriously considering adding more. Of course they have to fit you well, but I can highly recommend checking them out!
