This is the Spring Accessory your Wardrobe is Begging for

I definitely think a pearl accessory is the most beautiful statement piece for spring. It has the ability to dress up the most basic of outfits without making you feel too overdressed.

I bought my pearl bag nearly two years ago, and I love it as much today as I did when I got it. It is one of the most complimented pieces in my wardrobe and as an Instagram-obsessed person I have to add that few things make my feed prettier than this cute little piece.

I really do think a bag is a perfect statement accessory for wearing pearl: it’s unique and a bit unexpected, shaking any feeling of wearing “your grandma’s pearls”. It also pairs well with so, so many of my outfits.

However, if you’re not into wearing something as big as a bag with pearls, can I recommend shoes? I love these that I recently bought from Zara (they’re still in stock!). They’re perfect for summer and they give off a high end design without 100% ripping off a designer. You can of course opt for something a little bit more understated, with smaller pearls. But I think the big, chunky pearls make this so cool and a statement piece.

I have to mention pearl headbands. While they’re not as hot as they were the previous season, I still think they are so beautiful and feminine for spring. It’s also a much smaller accessory, if you’re not quite comfortable with the larger pieces yet. I wore mine lots last year, and will keep doing so. I prefer the strand of pearls, but I have to say they can have a tendency to slip off your head if you get a wrong shape and combine that with slippery hair. The padded ones are another option if you want a more chunky look.

Lastly, I have to mention pearl earrings. They are so beautiful, and I have been loving the combination of various abstract gold shapes mixed in with a pearl to make a beautiful art-like earring. A pearl earring is a classic, but you can’t go wrong. And this updated take on it feels so fresh.
