Are you ready to sport the Y2K jelly mule sandal trend that has infiltrated Tiktok? This trend definitely took me by surprise and I actually like it more than I thought I would. To me this 100% looks like Barbie’s footwear of choice going pool side. I like it. But I’m not sure I $360-like-it. So I found the best dupes and of course I wanted to share with you!
In terms of designer items, these are not the most ridiculously priced. In terms of being jelly sandals, they kind of are. As I don’t have them, I can’t speak to the quality, but I will admit they are all kinds of cute and come in lots of different Y2K-appropriate colors.
I was actually surprised by how many dupes I found – and how easy they were to find! Often you have to do a bit of digging to find good dupes, but there are plenty to choose from here. And you have a decent amount of variations, like heel height and colors, to choose from.
My favorite has to be this incredible dupe from Steve Madden (and it’s the one on its way to me right now). It comes in 4 colors – I went with the pink – and it is unmistakably the most similar to our original Gucci version.
Jeffrey Campbell does not disappoint either with two different models, one sporting the criss-cross design and one with a wedge, for those more partial to that style.
I also found several other brands making their own cool versions of this sandal. I think Schutz make such amazing designs, they’re chic and still statement and unique. And of course, no dupe hunt is complete without a scroll through Asos.
As always, I will update this post with more finds if and when I come over them! Let me know which is your favorite and leave a comment if you have found any great dupes for the Gucci jelly sandal mules as well.
