If you have been on the blog for some time, you will know that I have a pretty solid affinity for both designer handbags, as well as the parade of beautiful-yet-far-more-affordable handbags they inspire. Designers copy each other and the rest copy them, it is the foundation of the fashion eco system, so here we are. I have a strong love for both the quality and the enduring timelessness of Celine handbags. They are among the top understated luxury brands, and I wish I could fill my entire apartment with their entire range. Alas, I have a mortgage and a bank that would absolutely close my account on suspicion of fraud, so sprinkled among my beloved designer pieces, I put my attention to absolutely fantastic options that can scratch the bag itch without me needing to go bankrupt.

So, having already made quite a few blog posts on this, it has become a little cluttered and difficult to navigate, and I had the brilliant (shopping obsessed) idea to just make one giga-post where I could collect all of the dupes I come across, as I do. So this page will be updated continuously. Bookmark the post, if you like, so you can come back to it later!

Because Celine has quite a few iconic models, I will go bag-by-bag. I will link them below, so you can just jump to the bag you are interested in seeing dupes for, as the entire post should become fairly long.

I also wanted to include dupes at different price point, hence quite a few mid-range brands are included. Sometimes I want a very high quality leather handbag that I still hope to get decades of wear out of, but I don’t want to drop thousands on it. Let’s be real, the best value for money is definitely sitting at the contemporary / mid-range brands. Of course, sometimes there are fantastic dupes on the very affordable high street, so I wanted to include every (good) option I come across, hopefully there will be something for everyone.

Below is a list of the models included in this post, click on the one you are interested in to jump to those dupes. Unless you want to scroll through the entire post, of course!

Celine Triomphe

Admittedly this has been not only on my wish list, but my “obsessively checking out on social media, adding to cart, checking reviews”-wish list for the past couple of years. I am in love with the box shape already, as offered in their classic series and in several other high end designers (the Hermes Constance, as an even more expensive alternative). But the Triomphe logo makes for the cutest clasp and the perfect pop to make the bag a little more playful. The only downside is the price tag, which is why we are here. If you, like me, are on the hunt for something to scratch the box bag itch without getting high blood pressure whenever you actually take it out the door, I have some seriously amazing dupes for you here.

Dupes under $100

Dupes under $600

Moving into contemporary designers, many have created bags that look very similar to the Celine Triomphe (and plenty of other designer bags), but calling them dupes is borderline misleading. For the sake of this post, I have, but they are truly fantastic bags in their own right and many are absolute classics with a bit of a cult following. This is the place to go if you want a forever bag in this style, without paying thousands.

Sezane Milo Bag

This looks so classy and comes in several different colours. I have not tried their handbags myself, but their quality tends to be top notch! At $475, this is definitely a step up from high street brands but it is Italian made and screams luxury. It also comes in a smaller size, and several more colours than shown here. Take a look!

Under $1000

I am aware we are definitely rising in price at this moment, but I had to include these bags as well, as they are still highly popular and sought after alternatives to the several times more expensive high end designer versions. Also, keep an eye out for sales! Because while the high end designers would never, I quite frequently see these bags included in sales and discount codes.

Demellier The Vancouver Bag

I don’t know much about these or the brand itself, but I have seen them a fair bit online and the bags do make for a more unique alternative to the Celine Triomphe bag. I am personally more partial to a more rectangular clasp, but I must admit the bags with the contrast stitching are absolutely calling my name. It gives the bag such a luxe look. At $525 (the croc effect one at $575), these bags are at the lower end of this category, but still expensive enough they deserve a fair bit of research before pulling the trigger. They have a lot of different colour options, though, so if you’re after a particular shade, it’s definitely worth having a look.

A.P.C. Grace Bag

Typically from $800 – $1000 or 600-800 euros, the A.P.C Grace bag is for sure a commitment. However, I feel compelled to once again stress that these are possible to find at a discounted price! They still make a dent in the wallet, but everything helps.

Celine Ava Bag

This has become an absolute fan favourite over the past couple of seasons, the logo free versions sitting at the perfect intersection between quiet luxury and the revival of 90s minimalism. I have to admit I have slowly come around to this style myself, the simplicity and ease of wearing is just hard to beat.

Dupes under $100

There are lots of great dupes from the high street, both on the very affordable end and also closer to the $100 mark, which are leather and a great option if you want a bag that will last a bit longer.

Dupes under $500

Coach Mira Bag

I had to order this bag as soon as I saw it (I managed to wait until the next day, as per my own rule of sleeping on something before buying), it just is so beautiful and the horse and carriage monogram is so classy, it instantly reminded me of the Celine Ava bag. Obviously it has the similar shape of the (oh so popular) half moon bags that are made by every designer at the moment, but what truly makes the Mira bag such a great find, is that it comes with two straps, making it really practical and it is the main reason I picked this bag in the sea of bags this shape this season. They are also removable! I cannot tell you how excited I am for this bag to arrive (don’t worry, a review will follow, I will link it here when I get that written as well!).

It comes in both monogram and full leather options (at a slightly higher price for the leather) – and even a shearling one! I fell in love with the horse and carriage print, but they also do a tan version of their more used C monogram.

Coach Shoulder Bag

Another coach option for those who prefer a very minimal look, without the longer straps or the chain.

Celine Cabas Tote

There are several version of this bag model, of course. I own a large one, a seasonal horizontal canvas cabas tote, which is in heavy rotation during spring and summer. But I am particularly intrigued by the super cute smaller vertical totes!

Tory Burch Mini T Tote

This is such a cute dupe for the Celine mini vertical cabas tote in the triomphe print. Dare I say I prefer the Tory Burch even? The details are beautiful and although I have not pulled the trigger on this specific bag yet, I do love the quality of Tory Burch. It also comes with a super practical crossbody strap!

Celine Bucket Bags

Ok, so bucket bags are everywhere – they give off an immediate air of Parisian chic. But I still wanted to show some dupes that I found which made me immediately think of Celine. When you scroll through these dupes, I think you will know what I mean.

Dupes under $100

Mango

Mango, as per usual, is coming to us with some seriously expensive looking dupes. I will admit I have never tried their canvas type of bags, so I can’t comment on that. I would be more interested in trying them, rather than the faux leather options, though. They are more expensive, but I just think that such good looking and classic styles are best in more long lasting materials. I still included the faux leather option, I wish they would make this in leather, it would be so good.

Dupes under $500

Tory Burch Bucket Bag

Another Tory Burch win – these are timeless and stylish. I love the minimal design with the logo as a leather patch – that in itself reminds me very of Celine, even if their bucket bags do not have that (a lot of bags in their Triomphe lines do, though). In luxurious pebbled leather this is a bit more of an investment at $398, but it is for sure a classic bag that should last you decades.
