Alright, we have some high end makeup to scrutinize today (I’m not mean, I promise!). If you follow me on Instagram (hello! Let’s be friends), you will have seen that I posted a video of myself opening and trying these glosses (in the car, no less, because I have no patience). I have now used these for a few months and have a pretty good overview of how they perform, so I thought I would share that with you today. I did a video of swatches and all that good stuff, you can find that at the bottom of the page!

Me, trying on lipgloss in the car because I’m too impatient to wait until I get home. Like a child. Which is also the name of this shade (yes, I feel clever, thank you).

So, first of all, I got three shades because I didn’t want to jump in and get a ton if I didn’t end up liking them. Let’s be real, three lipglosses of the same line is still overkill for something you haven’t actually tried. But there we go. So I got the shade Halo, Child and Horizon.

Halo is a beautiful, slightly gold sparkly but otherwise completely clear gloss. I hoped this would be like MAC lipglass as that is the most glass like finish I have ever seen, it’s just so glossy but impossible to wear due to stickiness and an insane amount of “why is the gloss running everywhere on my face”. This one isn’t quite as shiny, but still very up there and definitely a great replacement as the Hourglass one I can actually wear (it’s so comfy!).

Child is a very pale, peachy nude. And I do mean very pale. It seems to be a great nude for super pale people, but I can really see this one wash out darker complexions (or, you know, not ghost like complexions). I am a MAC NC 10-15 for reference.

Horizon is by far the most unique of the shades, it’s a gorgeous pinky coral shade that I get compliments on every time I wear it. This just screams (non-aggressively) summer to me, it’s such a happy and brightening color.

Top: Halo- Middle: Child – Bottom: Horizon. Picture taken in daylight (in my car!).

So – with the shades out of the way, these wear – as previously mentioned – really comfortably. They don’t bleed, they’re not sticky and they’re surprisingly hydrating on the lips. Some days I have worn Halo as a lip balm. Perfect! It has a sliiiiiight minty-cooling smell and effect, but it wears off quickly and has never bothered me (and I hate mint).

It seems like these have a medium to full coverage, with the Halo shade being transparent, obviously. And even though I didn’t really see any “plumping” effect, they are ridiculously comfortable to have on. They’re not a totally weightless formula, but super creamy and not sticky at all. I can really recommend checking them out!
